Jordan’s physiotherapy practice spans twenty years in many practice settings. These have included everything from high-profile sports injury clinics with elite level clientele to industrial clinics within a factory setting to rehabilitating the complex and serious injuries found in a provincial trauma centre.

In 2008, he opened Momentum Physiotherapy Clinic in his Riverside South neighbourhood, delivering expert care to clients outside of the city core, seeing athletes and community members alike.  His practice continued to evolve and in 2016, he took his expertise in physiotherapy and exercise physiology, combined it with his love for improving sport performance and injury prevention in youth athletes and became a partner in Amped Sports Lab (www.ampedsportslab.com) in Ottawa, Ontario. Within Amped, he has opened a state-of-the-art clinical treatment area as well as having a performance gym and an ice surface to carry out physiotherapy sessions to help his patients recover faster.

There are many ways to approach client care as a physiotherapist, but Jordan believes to be effective, he must be hands-on with his clients. He achieved the highest level of manual therapy accreditation available in Canada, becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists (FCAMT) in 2004.

After the Fellowship in manual therapy was awarded, Jordan trained in Gunn IMS, (Intramuscular Stimulation) to add needling techniques to his manual therapy approach.

He then returned to his original exercise background from his degree at Western, and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), the premier performance coach designation in North America.

His combination of manual therapy, IMS and exercise training expertise provides Jordan the ability to guide all levels of athlete from the acute injury phase through the entire recovery process including the training they need to return to their sport. He can integrate high level performance exercise and sport vision training into their programs at the appropriate time.

Jordan’s wide range of skills have made him popular with athletes that have not been successful with other treatments for their long-standing injuries, and he is known as a troubleshooter for persistent problems in the athletic population.
